Dear Aunt Edith, Uncle Johnny will be missed sadly by all of us. Uncle Johnny was a wonderful son, husband, brother and terrific uncle, especially to me. I will always remember how gentle he was and kind. My most fond memories are seeing him visit with Grandmom and how he called her Maz. He was a thoughtful person and a man of a few words. I remember how he and you took me and Roni to the movies, out to dine and to your seashore house as young girls and the fun we all had together. These memories I cherish. Uncle Johnny was a true and rare treasure who loved you so very dearly all of his life and yours! He will be forever in our hearts as will you too. I love you both!

Dear Uncle Johnny:
I have loved you all my life, for many reasons, but mostly because of the uncommon love and kindness you so valiantly showered upon my Mother, all of her life, unconditionally! I also know of the selfless offers you made at my birth, however I never had the chance to thank you. You were a wonderful husband, and a terrific man. The kind of man, most men aspire to, but can only hope to become! My mother will miss you. I will remember our terrific conversation the last time you visited when I had the chance to tell you about my home. Thank you for being my Uncle, I will never forget you. You are with Jesus now, and I will pray for you. Love always, Roni

Dear Johnny:
You were always my favorite, and you always treated me as such! I will miss our private talks, and most selfishly, your kind and consistent advice regarding the family. I love you Johnny, and now you are with Mother. Hopefully I will see you soon. I will pray for you daily. Love, Mary

To the Family of Mr. John LaVallin:
I would like to express my condolences to you for the loss of your husband and brother, Mr. LaVallin.
I would also like to share a scripture from the Bible that has provided much comfort to me during the many losses I have experienced in the past. Jesus made a promise at John 5:28 that states, "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (which will include Mr. LaVallin) will hear his voice and come out." This is a promise that we should all look forward to being fulfilled.
I hope you have also found this to be comforting, and have given you hope during this time in your life. Once again, I express my deepest sympathy.
