I remember Merce and Joe from my childhood on elmer drive in toledo. My sisters and I were childhood companions of Gordon and Denny Clark, and Merce's mother was our god mother.( grandma eichler)
Our parents are both dead and we are scattered from Maine to Michigan.
I remember Joe as a gentle man, who helped on the farm next door. He was well liked by us children.
when I saw this obit., I figured it must be the same man. we had heard that the Brauns had a kennel in Bono and raised Basset Hounds. so it just had to be the same person.
I have been searching for Gordon without luck. any advise?

Joe, you will be missed! Skip-bo just won't be the same without you! And I do appreciate all the times you took me out on the boat to the point. It meant a lot to me! May you rest in peace. And may our families find comfort in the fond memories of you. Love, Jennie

To the Family
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you.
May the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort to you. He states at John 5:28,29 that all those in the memorial tombs (graves) will hear his voice and come out.
Our Heavenly Father, Jehovah God also assures us at Revelation 21:3-5 that he is going to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and death will be no more.
Again, I extend my condolences to you. May the God of all Comfort comfort each of you.

Grampy,
Words cannot express how much you meant to me. I will cherish the memories of our visits,
the times we stayed at the old house, the stories, your laughter, telling me I need more sunscreen :)
You will be dearly missed and as I sit here shedding tears I can here you telling me to knock it off.
All my love, Judy
Mimi, you are in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace.
Please take care of yourself for us. God Bless you for being there for Grandpa.
Love you, Judy

We will always have fond memories of Joe when we went to Florida for a visit and when he came to Virginia for a visit.
Trips on the boat and that trip to Busch Gardens to name a few. We hope Joe will find eternal peace.

Grandpa- you will always be part of my best childhood memories! Everytime we visit Florida I make a point to feed a heron or two. I loved feeding yours thru the screen door, that was the best! I'll make sure to name the next one I meet George for you. I loved your stories, your smile, and your laugh. You are in a better place and for that I am grateful. I will miss you! Love you!~Sarah
