Obituary of Charles V. Richardson

CHARLES VICTOR RICHARDSON, 82, of Englewood died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Englewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Born on September 25, 1927 in Greenwich, Connecticut he served during World War II in the Marine Corps. A winter resident since 1987 he became a permanent resident of Englewood in 2001. He worked at McGraw-Hill Publications in NYC for twenty years he retired in 1992 as manger of Mining Books. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years; Nancy A. Richardson of Englewood, FL; one daughter: Amy Richardson of Naugatuck, CT; three sons: Charles V. Richardson, III, Robert H. Richardson and Thomas E. Richardson all of Bridgeport, CT; in-laws: Jean Richardson and Stella Richardson of California; Mary Lou and her husband Ronald Reed of Rotonda West, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his parents, and two brothers, Walter and Phillip Richardson. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10 Am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Interment will follow in the Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4902 Eisenhower Blvd., 3295, Tampa, FL 33634 in memory of Mr. Richardson.
