Obituary of Charles V. Richardson

CHARLES VICTOR RICHARDSON, 82, of Englewood died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Englewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Born on September 25, 1927 in Greenwich, Connecticut he served during World War II in the Marine Corps. A winter resident since 1987 he became a permanent resident of Englewood in 2001. He worked at McGraw-Hill Publications in NYC for twenty years he retired in 1992 as manger of Mining Books. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years; Nancy A. Richardson of Englewood, FL; one daughter: Amy Richardson of Naugatuck, CT; three sons: Charles V. Richardson, III, Robert H. Richardson and Thomas E. Richardson all of Bridgeport, CT; in-laws: Jean Richardson and Stella Richardson of California; Mary Lou and her husband Ronald Reed of Rotonda West, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his parents, and two brothers, Walter and Phillip Richardson. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10 Am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
