Dear Nancy.
Learning about Chase's peaceful passing brought to our minds the first time we visited you in Florida. After a lovely dinner, you had taken us on a tour of your area that included a visit to your church. As we crossed the campus, we stopped at a special area where you tapped your foot on some sod and remarked that this would be the final resting place for Chase & me. We were truly impressed with this location as offering greater comfort than the traditional, isolated and possibly distant cemetery.
We hold in our thoughts and prayers the memories of good times we shared with friends in our Fairfield days when we were all in our prime.
A consoling thought by the Indian poet, Tagore, has been a comfort to us.
"Say not in grief that he is no more
but say in thankfulness that he was.
A death is not the extinguishing of a light,
but the putting out of the lamp
because the dawn has come."
Our sympathy to you and your family.
