Obituary of Ronald David Brewer

Ronald David Brewer, 83, passed away on January 28, 2024, at his home in Englewood, FL. He was born to David & Wanetta Brewer on October 11, 1940, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Ronald is survived by his wife Barbara (Young), stepson Christopher Young, his sister Alice Ames, daughters, Dawn Carr and Erin Kelleher, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ronald was an avid sailor for most of his life & was a sailing instructor for Englewood Sailing Association. His nickname among many of his friends was "MacGyver". If there was a project to be done, he was the "go to" man. He will be remembered for his ready smile and helpful nature. Ronald's ashes will be scattered in the Gulf, where he & Barbara enjoyed their time sailing over many years together. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
