Obituary of Lynn Levering

Lowell “Lynn” Levering of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on November 5, 2023 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida.

Lynn was born April 22, 1946 in Lancaster, Ohio to Walter O. Levering and Juanita Levering. Lynn was a 1964 graduate of New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio.

He served in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed on the U.S.S. Topeka during the Viet Nam War. He retired after 30 years from the Teamsters Trucking Union.

Lynn enjoyed his corvettes, and riding his Harley, taking in the sights of the countryside. He also enjoyed the company of his grandchildren.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susan (Potochina) Levering; his son, Beau Levering; Daughter, Michele (Curt) Fernholz; Sister, Susan (James) Lanier; grandchildren, Jacob, Morgan, Briana, Dakota, Nathan Fernholz, and Cale Levering.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter O. Levering, mother, Juanita (Williams) Levering and brother, Larry Lee Williams.
