Obituary of Ronald John Boksa

Ron Boksa passed away in comfort on the morning of August 22nd 2023. Born November 13, 1946, Ron was a man who led by his actions not his words.  He was a sincere man, astute listener, and enjoyed a good time visiting with his beloved family and friends.  Ron graduated from St. Joseph High School, Westchester, Illinois in its premier class of 1964. He was drafted into the US Army where his specialty was in tank mechanics and earned sharpshooter awards.  He was an avid boater who had a passion for being on the water with his family and friends.  He was incredibly proud of maintaining the rank of Pilot and safety chairman of the Fox Valley Sail and Power Squadron in the Fox Valley region Illinois.  Ron loved nothing more than hosting, cooking, and entertaining friends, and family in his home. He worked as a computer operator and later, IT Project Manager for various credit card companies. Ron fought until the very end after a year and a half long battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was always viewed as a hard worker, fighter, and one who would never give up.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Patricia Boksa; his sons: Timothy Boksa and his wife Sarah and their children L'Wren and Vaughn Boksa; Kenneth Boksa and his wife Kristina; his sister: Dolores Teunto and her husband James and his brother: Robert Boksa and his wife Benita.
