Martha Louisa Sheley Brough died Friday July 7, 2023, at the age of 93. Born on August 21, 1929, in Peoria, Illinois to the late Willard and Grace Sheley. She was a graduate of Elmwood Illinois High School and Western Illinois State College in Macomb, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1951. She was married to Robert (Bob) Brough for 52 years.
Survivors include two daughters: Kathleen (Matthew) Muzzin of Jerome, Michigan; Annette (Timothy Reimer) Brough of Key West, Florida; two grandchildren Megan and Christopher Muzzin and one great grandchild Avery.
She has lived in Illinois, Maryland, Michigan and Florida and was an active member of the Episcopal Church. She was a teacher, gardener, and the best mother and grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church 401 South Broadway, Englewood, Florida 34223 on July 22, 2023, at 10 a.m.
