Obituary of Mark Richard McInerney

Mark R McInerney, 70, died peacefully at his winter home in Englewood, FL,on May 7, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Marcy (Marietta) McInerney for 42 years. Despite his battle with serious medical issues, Mark showed courage in facing life’s challenges with determination to live and always with a smile. Every one recognized him with his Patriots hat a Dunkin Donuts iced coffee in one hand with his cigar in the other. Born in Boston Nov.1951 to Daniel J McInerney and Margaret Gallagher McInerney. Mark proudly served in the United States Air Force. He will be dearly missed by Marcy, his three sons, Devin McInerney and Kayi Teko of Fitchburg Ma. Ryan and Conor McInerney of Tyngsboro MA. He also leaves his Brothers: Daniel J and Patricia McInerney, Brian and Cheryl McInerney, Gerry and Linda McInerney all from Minnesota. His sister Mary Beth McInerney and Susan Barklclay of Boston. He has many nieces and nephews he leaves in both MA. and Minnesota. Memorial Donations in Mark’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association. A celebration of Life will be planned in late August in Falmouth, MA.
