Obituary of Donna DEE Covello

Donna R. "DEE" Covello, 68, of Englewood passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at her residence. Born on January 11, 1954, in Groton, Connecticut to Robert and Edith (Stefka) Didio, Dee graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1971. She and her husband, Joe, moved to Hillsborough County, Florida in 1991 from Greater Hartford area in Connecticut. In 2001 they moved to Englewood. Dee was an avid boater and beach lover. She was a volunteer of Suncoast Humane Society and was devoted to the pet therapy program with Englewood Hospital and Doctors Hospital. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge both of Englewood. She is pre-deceased by her father and a brother, David Didio. Survivors include her loving husband of thirty- six years: Joseph R. Covello and her mother: Edith Didio both of Englewood, Florida and a brother: Gary Didio of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Memorial contributions may be made to the Suncoast Humane Society, 6781 San Casa Drive, Englewood, Florida 34224 in memory of Dee Covello.
