Obituary of Karen Sue Durivou

Karen (McGuinness) Durivou, 73, of Port Charlotte Florida, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2021. She's at peace and happy being with her husband Jimmy, her parents, George and Betty, and her twin sister Kathy. Born in New York in 1948, she and Jimmy made Florida their home in 1979. Karen will be tremendously missed by her daughters, Sharon (Ralph), Debbie and her grandson Declan. She is survived by her sisters, Peggy, Eileen and brother Peter, many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on January 30th, at 1pm for family visitation and services at 2pm, at Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 McCall Rd. Englewood. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to be made to Florida Guardian Ad Litem, https://flgal.networkforgood.com/ in memory of Karen Durivou, as she was always for the child.
