Jim and Linda Kiaffas send our sincere sympathy on the passing of Danilo. Jim remembers all the good times they shared during the Boot Camp-Army and then when they came home and we spent time together with our young families. We enjoyed reading about Dan's later life in the beautifully written obituary that really reflected his person. Glad his obituary was published in The Hartford Courant for his friends in CT. to have closure and to include him in our prayers.
Deepest Sympathies, Jim and Linda Kiaffas

I feel so blessed knowing Dan. We met at the Aetna and both of us were active members of the Aetna Asian group. We were also members of the Filipino association. We used to have lunch with a group of Aetna employees and we had good time sharing jokes, stories, etc. Thank you for touching our lives and being a great friend. We appreciate you. Our sincere condolences to the family. May God grant him eternal rest.

I work for Dan during his Aetna computer days. He was a great boss and taught me a lor, which gave me a start in a mainly mans world. He shared his family love and we lived through his hi li wins with pineapple pizzas. When meeting with old retired fans we talk about Dan, which brought us joy. What a good life for he and his family. Thank you for your knowledge and experiences. Bless you family and continue to live in his example.

Rest in peace, Dan. It was a pleasure to know you and share loved family with you. It was always clear to me that within a quiet exterior there was an abundance of love and pride for your family, particularly in your role as Lolo. You displayed this by your loving smile as you enjoyed whatever the grandchildren were engaged in. I will do my small part to always remind them of the heritage you passed to them and, in my view, how valuable that is in the synergy of life. Perhaps we'll meet again......who knows ?
Bob
