I will always remember Jimmy as being a true friend. You just knew he would be there if you needed him. Jimmy always greeted me with a smile and made a pot of coffee when I visited so Karen and I could sip and chat.
I met Jimmy when he and Karen started dating. Through the years, I admired his love and faithfulness to Karen and his family. He was proud he and Karen shared a 50th anniversary.
Jimmy was religious and share his beliefs and feelings each holiday. He read his heartfelt words before dinner. In addition, he made Christmas specials because he would show me additions to his village.
Jimmy was concerned that we would meet him in Heaven. I am sure, Jimmy will be there to greet us and make a pot of coffee.
Love, Jeanne

To my Daddy
I miss you so much and love you with all of my heart. You taught me, God will take care of us. I so need your words of wisdom, your fatherly strength and your humor to get me through missing you... seriously... You are enjoying being in the Kingdom and yet, I mourn for you... no fair. You were the best dad I could ever have. You were hand picked for me and that is all I need to know. You always were there for me when I needed you, through the good, the bad and the ugly. I am so happy to have been your daughter.. as I am the person today because of you and mom who shaped my life. The day you went home, a part of me left... My faith tells me, and as sad as I am, I will see you again. You were so strong and always here for us. You loved me, Ralph and Declan with all of your heart. I can hear you telling me it'll be okay.
For all my family, my dad really was a great man. I'm so sorry for everyone. My prayers for the last few months have been, that my father did not suffer. I want everyone to smile when they think of him, because when you do, you'll remember him making you laugh.
Love you dad and poppy

To Karen, Sharon, & Debbie -
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of Jimmy. Knowing Jimmy since 1964 being 10 years old was one of the cornerstone of my life. We had so many things in common and we always got along.
There are so many memories of JIm, with JIm, about Jim, one the best virtues I ever learned I learned from Jim. Unconditional love. He loved Karen from the time they met till the day he left this earth. Always faithful, always honest, humble to a fault, and forever loving her unconditionally. I respected him for his commitment to the basic rules of life. As I write these words I am smiling as I know he is home and he is at peace. He left this earth a better place than when he found it, and he left us with blessed memories that will serve us a lifetime.
Thanks Brother.

My first memories of Jimmy was when he first started dating my sister Karen in 1965, they met roller skating. I was 15, our sister Eileen 12 and brother Peter 11. Jimmy drove a 1957 pink, white and silver Chevy Bellair which he purchased himself and took really good care of. It was immaculate, never a speck of dust or dirt on it. So every Sunday Jimmy would join our family for dinner. He loved Mom's lasagna and often commented he didn't understand how she could make such great lasagna since she wasn't Italian. Then we'd go downstairs play records and Peter and he would play ping pong for hours. Jimmy became a member of our family and a brother long before he and Karen got married. We loved him and he had a kind and gentle heart for everyone. We will all miss him and his great big smile greatly. Be happy Jimmy, we're all ok. Peggy

As Jim's ex brother-in-law, I remember Thanksgiving gatherings with the family when Jim, Peter and myself would try to break away and play a round of golf. We were all pretty bad golfers at the time, but we always had a great time together. Jim would make us all laugh, both on the tee or off and always had a positive outlook on life. Not too long ago, we connected again for my granddaughters first birthday party and it was great to catch up on old times. Jim still was able to make me laugh and we both shared some happy memories. As infrequent as we got to see each other, I will miss your laughter and great sense of humor. I will always remember you and the fun memories we shared. God bless and sending lots of love to your family. Doug

I found this yesterday, Jimmy wrote this and it is an important part of who he was
and I wanted to share this with everyone, I honestly think he wanted me to find it. He was my best friend and I still love him after 54 years. He was a great father, grandfather and a wonderful husband.
These are his words I do not know why he wrote except for me to find or a holiday coming up.
1. Could this be the year of our Lords return, But it could happen we will just have to wait and see
2. God's wrath has already begun, but it's only a smidgen of what's to come
3. Believers in the Lord won't have to worry though because when he returns up to we will go.
4. Walk with God every day and talk to him and he will show you the way.
Every holiday Jimmy wrote a prayer for the family, and he would read it before we ate. He was a religious man and believed in God.
I know that Jimmy is with the Lord, and even though I miss him terribly. I know he is in no pain and is happy.
Love and Miss you my best friend and love
Karen

When I started in the HVAC business - I was a night time clerk at Encore in June 1981. Jim trained me on the graveyard shift taking back parts and doing receiving, he was moving on to become a field tech. We reconnected here on the west coast as I grew CoolToday modeling what I learned from people like Jim. Be honest, take care of your people, and always family first. Thanks Jim, for your guidance and advice. God has called you to be our guardian angel.
