We have known Jack and Ellen many years and for good reason. Their friendship and loving kindness means the world to us. We attending their wedding with much joy and hopes for their future together. We were shocked by the news of his illness and rapid loss. I will miss his greeting of "Hey Ally Cat" and big warm hug to follow. Jack would give you the shirt off his back at a moments notice; just that kind of guy. Gods promise to all who believe is that he has prepared a place for us in Heaven." See you again someday Jack". In the time being we will both be here for Ellen as faithful friends. Love Charlie and Ally

We are so shocked and sorry - and we know that Jack's love for Ellen and for life burns bright in so many beautiful memories. We were gifted with the chance to know him better on a visit a few years ago and witnessed the joy he brought both Ellen and her mom. With great love and our support, Paula and Craig

I have known Jack for many years now. He was always sweet and soft-spoken, a gentle giant, a big ole teddy bear that always made me smile. I'm shocked and saddened. We joked around a lot, but I remember one day we were talking about the death of someone else and how lucky He was because He went in his sleep without a long drawn out battle. We figured that He must've been a really good man for God to allow him to go the way he did. Jack was that good man and I'm glad that he was able to earn his wings without a long drawn out battle. I'm praying for you Ellen. I'm so sorry that you lost Him too soon. I'm always here if you should ever need anything.

One of the first friends I made when I moved to FL 24 years ago. I will always remember Jack's kindness and big heart. Ellen and Jack took me under their wings and have been more than true friends for 24 years, we are family. I will forever remember all the memories we have made during those years and Jack will forever hold a special place in my heart. Words cannot express how much he will be missed and how much his friends love him. He was one of a kind, a great man, and true friend to the end.
