Obituary of Gerald L. Jeanguenat

Gerald "Jerry" L. Jeanguenat, 78, of Englewood passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Consulate Health Care of Port Charlotte. Born on November 28, 1931 in Dixon, Illinois he had been a resident of Charlotte County for eleven years coming from Erie, Pennsylvania. Mr. Jeanguenat served in the U.S. Army from 1952 - 1954. He was the owner/operator of Jeanco, Inc., a roofing company, in Erie, PA for thirty years. After he retired in 1999 he moved to Florida. Gerald was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-one years: Elizabeth "Betty" A. Jeanguenat of Englewood, FL; one daughter: Elizabeth A. Chester of Raleigh, NC; two sons: William P. Jeanguenat of Charleston, SC; Gerald L. (Susan) Jeanguenat, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; and two grand children: Charles and Bridget Jeanguenat. Services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
