Obituary of David Casperd

David Holt Casperd, 67 of Rotonda West died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Tidewell Hospice Englewood. He was born September 15, 1943 in Walsall, North Staffordshire, England to Henry Walter Holt and Mary Harriet (Owens) Casperd. David served in the US Air Force. He worked as a supervisor for 31 years with Columbia Gas starting as a meter reader in 1967 and ending his career as a Service Supervisor in 1998 when he retired. Mr. Casperd moved to Florida in 1999 from Forest, VA. Prior to living in Virginia, he resided in Ohio for 25 years. David loved riding his motorcycle, boating and hunting.After retiring, David started a second career as a realtor working for Keller William Realty in Englewood, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; Georgianna Casperd of Rotonda West, FL: three children; Michelle (Jesus) Herrera of Naples, FL; Michael (Nancy) Casperd of Brewster, OH; Stephanie Anderson of Englewood, FL: one brother; Gordon (Debra) Casperd of Kelowna, British Columbia and seven grandchildren; Jessica, Ian, Michaela, Anthony, Carter, Alex and Hayden.
