Obituary of James B. Weeks

JAMES BENSON WEEKS, 55, of Port Charlotte passed away suddenly and peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at his South Gulf Cove residence. Born on June 14, 1955 in Washington, DC, Jimmy was a resident of Charlotte County for twenty-six years coming from St. Georges Island, Maryland. A life long waterman, Jim loved blue crabbing and fishing. He was the owner/operator of Week's Seafood Market in Englewood for twenty-six years, with his wife, Cindy, until he retired. Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-four years: Cindy L. (Poe) Weeks of Port Charlotte, FL; one daughter: Amy Weeks of Englewood, FL; one brother: Roger (Linda) Weeks of Rockville, MD; step-mother: Lorraine Weeks of Fayetteville, PA; several nephews, nieces and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his parents, John D. and Gertrude (Cammack) Weeks. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 11:30 Am until service time at 1 Pm at the Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3070 South McCall Road.
