Obituary of Mary Eileen Beckert

MARY BECKERT, 66, of Placida, Florida passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Port Charlotte Hospice House. Born on March 10, 1944 in Lakeland, Florida to James and Shirley (Mee) Marshall, she had been a resident of Charlotte County for nineteen years coming from Palatine, Illinois. A loving wife, mother and homemaker for her family she was an avid golfer and member of the Rotonda Golf and County Club and Sable Trace Golf and Country Club. She was a former member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in IL. Survivors include two daughters: Dana Starck of Venice, FL and Tracy Seaman of Lake in the Hills, IL; one sister: Diana Wren; three brothers: Stephen, Bruce and Kelly Marshall; five grandchildren: Haley, Zachary, Jake, Kyle and Cole; and former husband: Glenn Beckert. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidwell Hospice, Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238 in memory of Mary Beckert.
