Obituary of Roger DeMay

Roger West DeMay, 81 of Englewood, FL died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Tidewell Hospice House in Venice. He was born December 1, 1928 in Hartford, CT. Roger served in the US Army during the Korean War. He moved to Englewood from Madison, CT in 1986 after retiring from Chesebrough-Pond's Inc. as the Director of National Distribution with more than 20 years of service. Mr. DeMay was a past member of the Moose, a member of the Elks. He was an avid reader and enjoyed boating, flying. Survivors include his wife of 19 years; Janice DeMay of Englewood, FL and his children; Stephen (Karen) DeMay of Charlotte, NC, Douglas (Nancy) DeMay of S. Windsor, CT, Jeanne DeMay (Karl) Zirolli of Glastonbury, CT. He is also survived by his extended family Victoria Hilow of Englewood, FL; Douglas Wilson of Charlotte, NC and Gregory Wilson of Keene, NH and seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
