Obituary of Denson Satterfield

Denson Louis Satterfield, Jr., 71 of Englewood died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Englewood Community Hospital. He was born December 11, 1938 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Denson, Sr. and Annie Laurie (Taylor) Satterfield. He was a veteran of the US Army serving at Ft. Bliss, TX from 1957 to 1960. He and his wife Carole wintered in Englewood from Marlboro, MA for many years and became permanent residents in 2006. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness Englewood. Denson enjoyed flying and he and his wife are members of the Retreads Motorcycle group. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years; Carole of Englewood: one daughter; Cindy McHie of Walla Walla, Washington: one sister; Dixie Lee Barton of Poland, NY: two brothers; David Satterfield of Southborough, MA and Donald Satterfield of Ma. He is also survived by two grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
