Jimmy Walton Robertson, 75 of Port Charlotte died Friday, January 1, 2010 at Harbor Health Care in Port Charlotte. Yea tho I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death I feel no evil for I have humbly walked beside my master. He was born December 10, 1936 in Neuman, GA to Samuel M. and Stella (Walburn) Robertson. Jimmy was a retired Chief Petty Officer who served valiantly with the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. His heart was a thousand times bigger than his mortal soul. Jimmy knew the true meaning of kindness and compassion. He was a commercial fisherman, bank purchasing officer and landscaper. He is survived by his loving daughters; Brenda Jean Muck of Port Charlotte and Bonnie Rodesiler of Hudson, MI. His sons; Mike Robertson of GA and Johnnie Robertson of AL. Jimmy had nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his buddy's; Brady Butler, Bobby Tack, Peter Gull, Teig and Edwin Muck and all his fraternal brothers and sisters of the Gulf Cove Moose Lodge 2554. Jimmy believed if you had a heart and a smile you could help change the world as he was always positive. He was a loving father and a very proud man and went to his Lord with the dignity of a Spartan. He is now residing with his loving wife Mary Jean Robertson in Heaven. Jimmy enjoy your cruise again. There will be a celebration of life in the memory of Jimmy to be held at the Gulf Cove Moose Lodge 2554 on January 10 from 1 to 3 PM.
