Obituary of Naomi Elroy

Naomi Bunney Elroy, 95, of Sterling House of Rotonda West, FL and formally of Cortland, NY, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Born on December 30, 1913 in Pengam, Wales, Naomi moved to New York with her parents, Lydia (Moore) and Charles Bunney and her siblings, in 1923. Naomi is predeceased by her husband of sixty-six years, Richard Palmer Elroy. She is survived by two daughters: Saundra Elroy Dale of Englewood, FL; Ursula Elroy (Anthony) Brescia of Placida, FL; seven grandchildren: Malcolm T. Dale, Jr. of Carthage, NC; Christopher E. Dale of Southbury, CT; Cynthia Dale (Kenneth) Hohman of Richmond, VA; Thomas S. Dale of Torrington, CT; Anthony R. Brescia of Ferndale, MI; Diane Brescia of Valrico, FL Susan Brescia (Thomas) Arcuri of Tampa, FL and four great grandchildren. A memorial service and inurnment will be in Cortland, NY at a later date.
