Obituary of Carmen Joseph Cusmano

CARMEN JOSEPH CUSMANO, 72, of Englewood died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Tidewell Hospice & Palliative Care in Port Charlotte. Born on November 7, 1937 in Linden, NJ he had been a resident of Charlotte County for twenty-two years coming from Cheshire, CT. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner and operator of Carmen's Floor Covering in CT for ten years prior to retiring in 1987; and was a former member of the American Legion Post in Rotonda West. He is pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Rachael and a sister, Ann Marie Linn. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years: Vita Cusmano of Englewood, FL; two daughters: Janet Brosious of Wallingford, CT; Laura Dayringer of North Port, FL; one son: Carmen Cusmano of Guilford, CT; three sisters: Connie Smith, Joanne Cusmano, Barbara Perkins and five grandchildren.
