To Joan and all the family of Fred,
Although my Uncle, Fred was more like a cousin to me. As everyone who knew him, the joy he brought into our lives will live on in the happiest of memories.
Our loss is Heavens' gain.
I will think of him whenever I hear a train whistle or rumble past.
I Loved his hugs!!
He was one of "good guys."
I join you in our sorrow of losing him, but celebrate in having had him.

Seeing as to how Mom and Dad don't have email or a computer for that matter, I will forward or heart felt wishes from balmy NY. Even though we haven't seen Fred since they moved to Florida, we always remembered his laughter and big smile. God bless and we are with you.

Joan and family: You will probably remember me as Richard Warren's daughter from Westhampton, MA. Dad's father was Fred's Gramma Jennie's brother. I of course haven't seen Fred for quite a few years since you were in NY and not much since he was a youngster. However, I did see many of his emails which had been forwarded to me by his sisters and/or niece, Janet Streeter. Am very saddened by your loss and ours. My Dad had very little family, all but two people being Ashley and Mary's children.

Joan, Paul, Darin and Heather,
I lived across the street from you on the corner of Jones Ave. in the 1970's and enjoyed many laughs with Fred. I called him the Mayor of Austerlitz St. He would plow the sidewalks and streets with his garden tractor after a big snow storm. He loved races at "The Valley". He was always there when someone needed a helping hand. I moved away from Chatham in 1980 and lost track of the family. I now live in Venice, Fl and saw the notice today. I wish I had known Fred lived nearby. I would have liked to see him again. My sincere condolences to the family. Dave Leeret

Aunt Joan and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Fred's passing. On my many visits to Florida with Sissy, we always made sure we got to see Uncle Fred and Aunt Joan. Although I wasn't family I was always made to feel like I was -- Thanksgiving a few years back and the many birthdays that were celebrated were always entertaining. And I can't forget how he taught Sissy and me to turkey bowl online. I will forever remember him for his quick wit, our talks of racing and his big hugs -- he will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We feel the hurt for you. So sorry Fred left us at such a young age. Its going to be hard to let go of such a great husband, father, brother and friend. Love Larry and Pat

Well, there was never a dull moment with Fred around. You know I was just thinking about how the last time I spoke with him was actually by accident...he was trying to call Heather and hit the wrong number and got me. I told him that day things happen for a reason and I'm so happy that hit the wrong number. Thoughts and prayers to Joan, Paul, Darin, Heather, and the rest of the family.
