Obituary of William Bill W. Blake

WILLIAM "Bill" W. BLAKE 75, of Englewood died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on June 7, 1933 in Bradford, Illinois he had been a resident of Charlotte County for thirteen years coming from Kewanee, Illinois. Mr. Blake served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He was employed by Caterpillar, Inc. for forty-two years and retired in 1992 as a design engineer. Mr. Blake was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Englewood. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years: Shirley Ann Blake of Englewood, FL; two sons: William W. Blake, Jr. of Houston, TX; Daniel M. Blake of Goshen, IN; one daughter: Cathleen VanStechelman of Kewanee, IL; two step-sons: Randy and Gary Heinrich; one step-daughter: Kathy Peed all of Kewanee, IL; one brother; Carter Blake of Houston, TX; ten grand children and ten great grand children. Funeral services and burial will be in Kewanee, IL. A memorial service will be held at a later date at The Assembly of God Church in Englewood.
