Dear Carole and family, I wa so sorry to hear about your Mom. We didn't spend too much time together but she was always such fun. The family reunion at Lake Tahoe in 1992 was wonderful and I don't think I ever laughed as much being with those nutty Benjamins. Their 50th anniversary was great and the amount of family and friemds that attended was a great tribute to how wonderful your folks were. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Try to take it one day at a time, that's the way I'm getting through the loss of your Uncle Robert. I'm sure the Benjamins are all together with God being measured for their wings. They are always there with us. Take care and God bless. Love Carol

Aunt Barb, my favorite memories of you are around Aunt Connie's pool. Some great time were had there. I don't think I can ever remember you being in a bad mood, or having a negative word to say. You were someone to look up to. Your family can rest now, knowing you are at peace and no longer in pain.

Dear Carole: Your Mother's sense of humor is somethiing I will always remember. Especially our trips to different restaraunts - "Did I order THAT?" and her uncanny ability to overcome those moments of forgetfulness "Oh, I knew that". And even more important is the care and attention you provided her both before and during her illness. You were the kind of person anyone would be proud to call "daughter". You can rest assured that she has reserved a seat for you in Heaven.
Love, Karen & Joe

My thoughts and prayers are with your family right now, as I can share in that familiar pain that you feel when you lose a mother. She will always be with you--close to your heart, in every thought that you think of her. I'm very saddened by the mere fact that I don't carry vivid memories of my Aunt Barbara, but reading these simple thoughts of her---she sounds like a true Benjamin. Kind, loving and open arms!! It gives me a good feeling to know that she is in the open arms of my Uncle Russell---and of all the "Benjamin's" including my father, Doug. May God give you strength and watch over all my cousins during this hard time! "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family"--All of my love, Your Cousin, Tori

Dear Carole, Kim, Russell, and Wayne,
I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Barbara. Mom and Dad (Selden and Eileen) have kept me posted on her the past few years and she has been in my prayers....as you all are now.
One of my fondest childhood memories is of the first "grown up" trip I took ....flying alone to MA my 8th grade summer to stay with Kim, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Russell!! I've never forgotten the warm feelings of that trip, and the love and kindness of Aunt Barbara! I know she will be greatly missed here, but heaven is happy to have another Benjamin!
Keeping you all in thoughts and prayers,
With Love, your cousin, Sue

Carole, Eddy, Lee & Kim...
It saddens me to see our parent's incredible generation becoming extinct.
Through their trials and tribulations , they have shown us courage to overcome our personal challenges.
Their "gift" is now passed on to our children through us; compassion, love of family, and an incredible sense of humor!
Your mom and mine were characters when together. They both enjoyed life to the fullest with their crazy antics and
strange people that they always met.
The memories of their laughter will always remain in my heart.
I loved your mom...
Love
Sandy
