Obituary of Lottie Alma Lampp

LOTTIE A. LAMPP Lottie Alma Lampp, 99, life long resident of Englewood died peacefully at her Sarasota County residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born on October 12, 1909 in Englewood to one of the pioneer families of the area, Jessie T. (Pat) and Edith (Anger) Lampp. Lottie worked at the family business, Lampp Clothing Store in Englewood. She was active in the Rebeccas and the Lemon Bay Historical Society. A charter member of the Englewood United Methodist Church, Lottie served the church in many roles throughout her life. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; and a multitude of loving friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 10 Am until service time at 11 Am at the Englewood United Methodist Church - Doan Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lemon Bay Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Englewood United Methodist Church, 700 East Dearborn Street, Englewood, Florida 34223 or the Lemon Bay Historical Society, Post Office Box 1245, Englewood, Florida 34295 in memory of Lottie Lampp. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been selected to handle arrangements.
