Obituary of Frances Stevenson

Frances Marie Stevenson, 79, of Englewood (Sarasota County), FL and Wareham, Mass died Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Venice Regional Medical Center in Venice, FL. She was born on June 15, 1929 in Arlington, Mass. Frances was the founder and operator of the Wareham Dance Center in Wareham, Mass; for 32 years and the Frances Stevenson School of Dance in Holbrook, Mass. She worked locally with Ann Marie Deramo Dance at the Tringali Recreational Center as a choreographer in Englewood, FL. Mrs. Stevenson was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in New Bedford, Mass and the Dance Teachers of America. Survivors include her husband of 58 years; William: two children; Robert J. Stevenson of Flower Mound, TX and Ann M. Nicholas of Holland, Mass. She is also survived by three grand daughters: Alyssa Baker, Stacey Baker and Kendall Stevenson. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in West Roxbury, Mass.
