Obituary of Frank Balogh

FRANK BALOGH, Jr. Frank Balogh, 86, of Brandon, Florida died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Life Path Hospice in Sun City Center, FL. Born on August 8, 1922 in New Canaan, Connecticut, he had come to Englewood in 1992 from Vista, NY. Mr. Balogh served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He moved to Brandon in 2005. He was a driver and a retired member of Local 191 and the Teamsters Union. Mr. Balogh was a former fire Chief for the Vista NY Fire Department and a volunteer of the New Canann Fire Department. He was a former member of the V.F.W. Post in New Canaan. Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Elsie L. Balogh of Brandon, FL; one daughter: Phyllis L. (Gary) Andrzejewski and one grandson: Walter Andrzejewski all of Valrico, FL. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11 AM at Gulf Pines Memorial Park Cemetery in the Chapel of Peace with entombment to follow. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been selected to handle arrangements.
