Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Steinbacher

Betty Steinbacher of Rotonda West Florida passed away on May 9, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 79.

She was born in Abington PA to Harry and Evelyn Guyn. She grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her brother Richard and sister Evelyn.

Betty and her husband Walter Scott Steinbacher Sr. raised their 3 children in Warminster PA where she worked as a crossing guard and helped at the Warminster swim club and was a member of the Warminster Presbyterian Church. 

Betty and Walt moved to Rotonda West FL in 1996 where she worked as a sales associate at Bealls in Englewood FL for 23 years. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Englewood where she played on the bell choir and sang in the choir. Betty was an avid gardener and enjoyed crafts and shopping. 

She is survived by her husband Walter Scott Steinbacher Sr. her sons Walter Scott Steinbacher Jr., Robert Mark Steinbacher and her daughter Kimberly Anne Arguedas, and her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

A Celebration of her life will be held at The Community Presbyterian Church 405 S McCall Rd, Englewood, FL 34223 on May 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
