Obituary of Rebecca Jane Koranchan

Rebecca "Becky" Koranchan passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.D. Jacobs, Reba Jacobs and her brother Don Jacobs.

Becky was a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor and Master's degree. She was an elementary teacher for 36 1/2 years, with the last 30 years as a 1st Grade Teacher in New Albany, Indiana. 

Becky moved to Englewood, FL with her husband "Bud". She was the Chairman of the Sunshine Committie of Oak Forest for 13 years and was active in Calvary Baptist Church and the YMCA, both of Englewood, FL. 

Becky had the unique privilege of visiting 93 different countries in 14 years. She often said"...everything is beautiful in it's own way - you just have to look for it".
