The year was 1977, Jamie had volunteered to come to Ellicotville to help paint my uncle's home after he (Ken Brown/Corbett Sports) had been in a motorcycle accident. Jamie was my then husband's (Kevin) best friend. Jamie had a great sense of humour and was always fun to be around. At that time it was a toss up as to who came first in his life, the mirror he was always checking his hair out in, his beautiful blue Mustang, or his first love Karen.
His premature death is a terrible loss to his family and friends. Clearly the years were much too short, but he sure packed a lot of living in those years.
Sincere condolences,
Kathryn Hogan

Jamie was truly a friend. He was always willing to help out when needed. He helped us out several times when we purchased our cottage in Mactier, Ontario. He always had the equipment to make the jobs easier. His willingness to watch over the property when we weren't there was a blessing as well. He was friendly to everyone and made it easy to become a friend. He will be missed.

Jamie's "funtastic" personality will live in our hearts, remembering the FUN times at La Quinta Golf, California, with Rocky Crest members
He sure was a fun loving fellow and we were glad to know him!

Jamie McGregor
When the time comes to say goodbye to a friend the impact that they made makes us want them back again. Jamie touched the hearts of those blessed to know him, generous and kind always there to lend a helping hand never in my life have I ever met anyone who had such a positive impact on so many. Jamie helped me through my tears when I was desperate and down, he made me see the blessing that are all around. Time after time being a true friend to me and my children demonstrating to us the joy life can be when you take satisfaction in helping others. Voluntold was a fun slogan and some of you may understand and laugh just a little. The Muskoka fun, fishing and frying couldn't be out done as the memories of Jamie are living on in the hearts of all of us. Moonlight tours on those perfect summer nights, fishing through the holes when the ice was just right, stacking wood to stay warm on those cold rainy days and always smiling regardless of the day. How can I pay tribute to a man of such stature other than to try to live my life more like my mentor, Jamie McGregor. So, the words of comfort that I'm happy to share is that Jamie going on ahead of us doesn't end his adventure because death is the beginning of much to look forward to and I look forward to spending time once again with an irreplaceable friend. Jamie is very much alive with God and in the hearts of all who love him. Until we meet again, I love you, my friend.

Too many lessons to list them all but three that stand out...
1. Why have things (knowledge, time, toys) if you aren't going to share them?
2. You can make friends out of strangers and family out of friends.
3. Coffee is a good source of Kahlua
May you rest easy up there, Jamie. Love Sabby.
