I send my love and hugs to the family as I recall memories of Mrs. Patricia Nirmaier in so many of my childhood stories. My older sister Sharon (Deller) O'Briski and Karen Nirmaier were inseparable as teenagers, and the coolest teenagers in my eyes with their marshmallow shoes and elephant bells. Barbara Nirmaier and I were friends, in the same class at Saint John Nepomucene, and could not quite compete with the coolness of our big sisters, including the oldest Nirmaier, Joanie. Sorry, Barbara, but this is how I remember our status—a bit silly and slightly less elegant in the fashion and hair department than our big sisters. I will forever treasure my childhood memories, of which Mrs. Nirmaier and the entire Nirmaier family were a part. I am so sorry for your loss.
