Obituary of Celestine E. Wampach
Celestine E. "Sally" Wampach age 89 died Wednesday September 22,2021.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, Boca Grande, FL
on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 10 Am. Burial will be scheduled at alaler date in
Eden Valley, MN.
Saily was born in Eden Valley, MN February 25,1932 to Louis Foley and
Gertrude (Kramer) Foley. Sally graduated from Eden Valley High School in
1948. She met her one true love at a dance in 1952 and Sally married Lloyd
A. "Bud" Wampach on August29,1953 in St. Peters Catholic Church, Eden
Valley, MN. In their first 10 years of marriage they had four children born in 3 different states. In 1973, Sally graduated from Marion Technical
College in Marion, OH with a Nursing degree and was a licensed RN in
Ohio, Minnesota, and Michigan.
Sally and Bud retired to Boca Grande, FL in 1990 where she enjoyed
playing golf, walking the beach, working her crosswords and dancing when
the opportunity presented itself, and it always did. Sally was a wonderful
cook and could always be found in the kitchen baking or making a special
recipe as she loved entertaining, be it a family celebration or a gathering of friends.
Sally lived for her family and loved the life she and Bud built over their 67 years of marriage. Sally will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her easy smile, caring kindness and thoughtful
consideration toward others. Sally was a devoted wife, loving mother and
grandmother with a strong faith that guided her always.
Survivors include her children Dan (Jaqueline) Wampach, Patti Rae (Chuck)
Wittrock, Trude Wampach, grandson Nick (Stef Wampach, great
grandchildren Weston and Sienna Wampach, her brother Pat Foley, sisters
Celine Kunkel, Peggy Butkovich, and Kaye Mills, along with numerous
nieces and nephews.
Sally is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Gertrude Foley, her
husband Bud Wampach, her son Jeff Wampach, her grandson Weston
Wampach, and her sister Mary Lou Tvedt.
In lieu of flowers a memorial gift can be made to Parish Life Center in care of Our Lady of Mercy Parish, P. O. Box 181 Boca Grande, FL33921.
