Obituary of Johnny S. Allan

Johnny S. Allan, 74, of Rotonda West, Florida passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on November 7, 1946 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Robert and Wilma Swartz Allan; he had been a resident of Charlotte County for nine years coming from Oscoda, Michigan. Johnny served in the U.S. Marines, the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Airforce after serving nearly twenty-four years. He was a member of the Oscoda V.F.W. Post 3735 and a member of the American Medical Technicians Society. He held a private pilots license and was an active sky diver. He also enjoyed all things mechanical and taught his sons about auto mechanics. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-four years: Robbin; three sons: Shawn, Paul (Marsha), Aaron (Joy); two step-children: Kate Hansen and Charles Hansen (Julie); one sister: Mary (Gerry) Noe; one brother: Leslie Trapp; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Memorial contributions may be made to any veteran's support organization in Johnny Allan's memory. Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory has been selected to handle arrangements.
