Obituary of Gary N. Peschke

Gary N. Peschke, 66, of North Port, Florida passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital due to complications from Parkinson's - Palsy disease. Born on March 1, 1955 in Milford, Delaware to Gerhard and Lilli (Yehs) Peschke, he later moved with his parents, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Later, in 1995 he followed his parents to Charlotte County, Florida. Gary enjoyed bowling and had won several awards for great games played. He also enjoyed his birds and was the owner/operator of Smith Enterprise Lawn Service. He is pre-deceased by his father, Gerhard Peschke in 2009. Gary is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years: Merafe/Marie Peschke; his two children; Kenneth Magsuling and Shane Peschke; his mother: Lilli Peschke; one brother: Kurt Peschke and his wife, Karen. Gary spent many happy childhood times with his Great Aunt, Lucy Hammond and second cousins Jimmy Hammond, Bob and Donna Smith and Joan Maloney. Gary leaves behind many beloved cousins and other relatives in Germany and other parts of Europe who will miss him dearly. A Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10 AM at San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL 34287. Interment in the church Memorial Garden will follow.
