Obituary of Robert Lee Snyder

Robert "Bob" Snyder was a caring husband, father, and grandfather. After a courageous battle with cancer, he left this world on July 5, 2021 at the age of 65 surrounded by family and under Tidewell Hospice care. Bob was born to Edna and Harry Snyder on December 2, 1955 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother after his father passed away when Bob was very young. He graduated from Neshannock High School in New Castle, after which he attended Kent State University. Bob had a successful 35-year+ career in residential drafting and was the owner of Snyder Drafting and Design in Port Charlotte, FL. Bob was happily married to Paula Snyder for 31 years and together they had one daughter, Nichole. He recently became a grandfather to Henry. Bob was extremely committed to his family and enjoyed boating, playing cards, watching the Florida Gators play football, and spending time with his sidekick labradoodle, Cooper. Bob was easy-going, witty, and extremely funny. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bob is survived by his wife: Paula; daughter and son-in-law: Nichole and Ryan Fintel; grandson: Henry Fintel; and two sisters and their spouses: Carol and Bill Trimble and Margaret and Tom Cwynar. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Olde World Restaurant in North Port, FL on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Foundation, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238 in memory of Bob Snyder.
