Obituary of Joan Marie Campbell McInroy

Joan Marie Campbell McInroy, 84, of Canisteo, New York passed away peacefully in Englewood, Florida on January 6, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born on October 12, 1936 to Roy and Marie Campbell in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania. She worked for Audrey's Gift Shop and Winters Real Estate, but would quickly tell you the best job she ever had was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Joan married the love of her life Richard (Dick) McInroy on June 16, 1956. They enjoyed a fabulous 64 years together. She enjoyed spending her summers on Keuka Lake and her winters in Englewood Florida hunting the beach for shark teeth and sea glass. She enjoyed canning, cooking and baking, playing games, puzzles, watching game shows, shopping, and cherished her time with friends and family. She was always doing things for others. Joan was predeceased by her parents, in-laws Harry and Rosetta, and brothers Clint Campbell and Oliver (Twist) Campbell. She is survived by her beloved family including her husband and best friend Dick, sons Harry (Bridget) McInroy, and Rick (Dawn) McInroy, grandchildren Jennifer McInroy, Jessica (Eric) Hallas, Jim (Alicia) McInroy and Brielle McInroy, great grandchildren Carter and Ellie McInroy, former daughter-in-law Cindy McInroy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joan was blessed to have many close friends. She would always remind you that she "loves you more." A life celebration will be held at a later date.
