Dave join the Army and ended up in Germany. Where he found a beautiful German girl. Married her and had two children Patty and Debbie.
Dave was the sensible brother with a good heart.
Now that Dave has passed I ve lost all three of my Brothers in this last year.
I'm sure we'll all be together soon enough!

The words escape me but they never escaped Dave. He always had the most clever, funny and even comforting words when needed. When the Healings were around you never wanted for anything. They gave of their time, love and would give anyone in need the shirt off his back. My most memorable times was when Chad, Sasha (his adopted fur baby) Erika & I would enjoy drinks together at their home and hear the stories of their love. How they met and how much they treasured one another. Dave is leaving this world behind but his memory will live on as we continue to honor him with speaking his name with those of us that are much better people because of knowing him. I miss him :skin-tone-2:

Where to start with this loving bundle of fun? Dave was a great entertainer with a BIG heart, he fascinated us all with his stories, he made us groan at his jokes, he gave and received banter with such good humour "bugger off Healing" became a phrase synonymous with his extended visits across the canal when he knew he should be undertaking other tasks! Dave and Erika were great neighbours when we had our place in Rotonda, nothing was too much trouble in support of family and friends that stayed there. Dave was the consummate host alongside Erika's lovely cooking, finishing off with those lovely Asbach coffees! "We don't do coffee" wasn't a phrase that would ever be heard in your house.
Dave you will be missed by so many for your fun loving outlook and your heart of love and generosity. Thank you for your friendship.
May you rest in peace, with love from your English friends, Eileen, Derek & Celia x

David had an incredible heart and always found ways to connect with everyone he met. Never shy, always outgoing, adding humor and care to all he said and did. He and Erika adopted us on our first Viking River Cruise and have been Opa and Oma since. We had many trips and visits together - each one as exciting as the previous (cruises, drinks, amazing food, diamond hunting, castles, alligators, space outings, visits to FL and CO...the list goes on. David made being part of our lives real in so many ways for our entire family. I will never forgot some of his famous jokes and antics but most of all his loving, caring heart for all. He made memories real and he will always be in our hearts and memories. Until we meet again - fly free without pain and I will promise to keep smiling in your memory.

Dave you were such a nice man. Very genuine. You even went to look for the German chewing gum I love and Erika, Debbie and you drove down the street and gave it to me in a small brown bag. Rest easy Dave. Heaven has gained another angel. I will miss waving at you when I pass by your home and your humor.:kissing_heart::heart:

It's hard to choose the best moment to share with everyone. Could it be the times that you and I would go food shopping and tag team mom with phone calls for our own little chuckles? Or could it be when we would do stupid stuff and make mom laugh so hard she would snort? Maybe it's the adventures we all shared together? I have so many great memories with you that I could make it to Mars and back. I miss you my Poppa and always will. My White Castles will never taste the same without stealing a bite. Being the "Normal" family will never be the same without "Notso", but "Abby" and I "Farfrom" will continue using your little ditties.
Love,
Your Snoopy
