Obituary of Mellody Anne Hayes

Mellody Anne Hayes, 69 years old, lost her battle with stage 4 lung cancer On Dec. 3, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Roger Hayes, Her Children Michael, Morgan, And Nicole. Sister Linda and Brothers, Harry. And Kenneth. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, always a brilliant ray of Sunshine to all who knew & loved her. Mellody was born in New Market, Ontario, Canada January 14, 1951 to her Parents Kenneth Richards and Mary (McPhee) Richards. Mellody "Mell" as she preferred graduated from Cupertino High School class of 1969. Her interest in accounting led to a position as a Chief Financial Officer for a major California corporation. She later became involved in Real Estate, and excelled in that profession as well. Mell a truly bright and energetic person who had the ability to sense when someone needed her help. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life. Per Mell's wishes Funeral services will not be held, instead, Creamation services will be tendered at Englewood Florida, with her ashes to be spread at Sea at a later date. A celebration of her amazing life with us will be held with a notification to follow. In the interim please light a candle and send a prayer in her memory.
