Juanita was a member of our Red Hat Society for many years,We were so shocked and saddened to hear of of her passing..She was always a beam of sunshine whenever she walked into a room. Beautiful photo of a beautiful lady. So many wonderful memories from High School till the time she left for Fla. Never saw her without a smile. She was amazing to raise 6 children, continue her education with High Honors, and always being involved in some program that would serve others. Can't believe she has passed. Our thoughts and prayer and with Red and his family.
They have many loving memories to remember her by.

Juanita and Red were members of the Lemon Bay Rag Haulers for many years. For the last few years Juanita was on our board. Whenever we had a meeting she always walked in with a wonderful smile and optimistic attitude, no matter what was going on in her life at the moment. We will always have wonderful memories of our past boating adventurs and now our land base outings with them. Our thoughts and prayers are with Red and the family.

We were so very saddened to hear of the passing of Juanita. She was a beautiful person, and a caring person inside and out no matter what she was going through at the time. She always had a smile and a hug whenever we would meet in a store or we would see her at a party. She was always dressed beautifully. She loved her family and her "fur babies" very much and it showed. Love and sympathies going out to "Red" and to the whole family. Juanita will be missed by all for sure. She will be added to my prayer list. May she R.I.P. in the hands of the Lord.

Juanita will long be remembered by her Red Hat friends.Several times she hosted Red Hat ladies in her home. Red was always the loving, supportive and helping chef husband. In spite of her challenges the past year, she remained positive. She was always so beautifully clothed, hair in place and lovely manicured nails.. Each month I looked forward to see the decorated nails! I am sure the happy memories of this delightful and positive lady will be comforting to the family.

Juanita and I were colleagues at Rogers HS, both Special Educators. I remember she always chewed gum! On Fridays, we often would head to the Lobster Pot in Bristol to enjoy a quiet cocktail with fantastic views. She was a lovely woman.

Fine memories of my childhood race to the fore front of my mind of this wonderful woman. Her hugs while snaping gum (this is when the snap was the loudest) are forever ingrained backed by her welcoming embrase. Her small farm in bristol with, horses (maybe donkeys), romulus and remus (her and reds Choc labs), since we didnt have dogs this was always a real highlight of my animal loving childhood.Juanita was always so full of life, love and happiness. She was my step grandmother for a short while and i consider myself lucky to have called her family even if it wasnt that long. She was a wonderful soul who will be deeply missed but lives on in everyone she touched.

Such a beautiful Spirit inside and out. We had the pleasure of her company only a few times and she always made us feel like we'd known each other for years. Full of giving and grace, she shared her beautiful home with adopted fur babies that received the best care. RIP Juanita , I'm sorry we couldn't connect again one last time. Tara & John
