BUD was a good police officer a good sport and loved by all his fellow officers. I worked with my entire career on the police dept. with BUD. When i was a kid in 7th grade BUD rode a motorcycle and one day during snow storm he told me to get off the street and walk on the sidewalk when you could not see the sidewalk. Later i became his boss and never let him forget that incident. He was a loyal employee. My prayers are with BUD and his family. Chief Richard Boyan [retired] Irondequcit Police Dept.

My condolences to the entire Ventimiglia family for their loss. One never knows when someone is going to come into your life and become a friend and over the last year that's exactly what Bud and I became - quick friends. I found him to be of exemplary character and to have a wonderful sense of humor. Multiple decades younger than him, I often sat mesmerized as he regaled me with stories - tales of his time on the police force and memories of his wife who he loved and missed so much - all the while giving me a history lesson as he walked me through his life during the decades of the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. He had a quick smile and was a joy to be around. He is missed and will not be forgotten.

I'm so happy that I became friends with Bud through our grief share social group and to give him rides sometimes to special gatherings. I used to kid him that a bald head makes for more kissing room so would always gjve him a kiss in the middle of his bald head which would always bring a big smile to his face. He was a special man and dear frjend.

I remember working with Bud several times, even though I was a Webster police officer. He was a great guy with an easy laugh. He did not suffer lawbreakers easily. He was fair, but stern with them. A good cop. RIP Bud. You will be missed.

Bud was such a huge part of Englewood United Methodist Church, especially the Grief Share and Living with Loss programs. He was a joy and a friend to so many, he often stopped at our home after his "Sunsets at Indian Mound Park". We enjoyed so many fun
times and some sad times remembering good times and bad times. He was a true strength
to so many in the Grief Share Program, helping them as others had helped him. We will
always remember Bud with a "Special Place in our Hearts". Friends Forever, Art & Linda
