Obituary of Charles Skip Albert Wehrle

"Skip" Charles A. Wehrle Born 12-1-1948 and raised in Michigan, on Saturday May 9, 2020 heaven got a little louder when Skip passed away. He has left behind his loving wife of 49 years, MaryAnn, sons Toby (Michelle), Russ (Jennifer), daughter Becky, and brother Carl (Vivian). He will be missed by his 5 grandchildren: Cassidy, Moxey, Lux, Luna, and Tytus, along with numerous family members and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Connie McGee. He was honored to have served in the U. S Navy, earn his college degree, and went on to a career at Michigan Bell/AT&T. He was an avid sports fan, coach, umpire, and referee. In retirement he moved to Rotonda West, Florida and enjoyed golfing, traveling, and socializing. Due to the strict Covid protocol, a private burial will occur. Future gatherings in Michigan and Florida to honor his well lived life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired memorial donations will be accepted by his family for disbursement to Skip's favorite local charities.
