Obituary of Joyce Fawcett

JOYCE FAWCETT Joyce Fawcett, 67, of Rotonda West, Florida died on Saturday, April 4, 2009 due to an auto accident in Arcadia, Florida. Born on September 6, 1941 in Maple Heights, Ohio she had been a resident of Rotonda West for five years coming from Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of the Fellowship Church of Englewood and through the church she was active in the Women's Ministry, Naomi Widow Group, Bible Study, Pregnancy Solutions and the Christian Radio Station. She was also a member of the New Hope Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Berea, OH. Joyce loved studying God's word, reading, stampin', and cross stitching. She was a devoted and loving wife, mom and grandma. Survivors include her son: Herb (Pam) Simpson of Strongsville, OH; three step-daughters: Peggy (Rich) Hickle, Debbie (Doug) Pyle and Connie (Tom) Moses all of Cleveland, OH; one sister: Anne Comer of Charlotte, NC; three brothers; Ed Zakareckis of Fairfield, CA; Chuck Zakareckis and John Zakareckis both of Cleveland, OH; nine grandchildren: Tia, Ian, Laura, Rachel, Zak, Drew, Chelsea, Josh and Hannah; and five great grand children. She is pre-deceased by her first husband, Charles H. Simpson, second husband, Edwin Fawcett and two grand daughters, Joy and Lisa. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 2 PM at the Berea Masonic Temple, 366 Eastland Road, Berea, Ohio 44017.
