Obituary of James Wharton

James Morrow Wharton, 67, of Rotonda West, FL; formerly of Chicago, IL; died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at his Charlotte County residence. He was born on May 23, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Paul and Cecelia (Morrow) Wharton. James served in the US Navy.. He was President of Kinetics Container Corporation retiring after 30 years. He moved to Florida in 2004 coming from Chicago, IL. James was a life member of Mt. Prospect, IL Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, golf, playing handball and reading action novels. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara; two sons: James and his wife Tracy of Jacksonville, Michael and his partner Michael Beauchamp of Argyle, TX; one brother Richard of Glenview, IL; two sisters: Cecelia Creger of Northbrook, IL. And Wendy Hess of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by one granddaughter: Jenifer Lynn Wharton.
