Obituary of Elsie Mott

ELSIE L. MOTT Elsie Leah Mott, 95, of Englewood, FL died peacefully with her loving family around her on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at her Sarasota Co. residence. Born on October 13, 1912 in Easton, PA she had been a resident of Englewood for twelve years coming from Cape May Court House, NJ. Mrs. Mott was a hard working, good hearted and loving mother for her family. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, a hospital auxiliary volunteer at Burdette Tomlin Hosp. in NJ. She will be remembered as an avid and talented quilter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mott and a son, Timothy Maurer. Survivors include two sons: John (Karen) Maurer of Englewood, FL and Robert (Susan) Maurer of Buckeye, AZ; daughter-in-law: Phyllis Maurer of Orange, CA; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 9:30 AM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3070 South McCall Road, 941/475-9800.
